Special Interest Group (SIG)
Organised by the students of the Special Interest Group (SIG) mainly from SCM undergraduate programmes, "Playful Media Showcase" aims to provide a platform for students who are earnest, creative and passionate about media art and digital entertainment, to present their creative works to the general public.

Special Interest Group (SIG)
Our exhibition is titled “Superimposition”, symbolising the ‘self’ in different eras. In the intersected frame, we seek the trajectory of our self between truth and deceit. Yet, we tend to lose sight of our original focus point amidst an ornate facade.

The birth of art is as such. Creators impose an initial base tone, while the intervention of the viewer, different experiences form new light and shadow, fragmenting this singular significance into infinite “superimpositions” in different directions. Ultimately, a soundless dialogue is complete without a definite answer.

We hereby welcome you to step into the interplay of light and shadow, the interwoven narrative and leave a unique mirage that belongs to only you.
